Russia rewards National Assembly President
The government of the Russian Federation has awarded the President of the Lao National Assembly Ms Pany Yathotou with an Order of Friendship for her great contribution to the development of cooperation between Laos and Russia. The award ceremony took place yesterday at the Russian Embassy in Vientiane, when Russian Ambassador to Laos Mr Mikhail Baranov represented the Russian government in presenting the award to Ms Pany. This high award is given to Ms Pany Yathotou with dignity for her certified activities for the expansion and consolidation of Russian-Lao cooperation, Mr Baranov said.
